‘The journey itself is my home.’ Basho

About this time of year for the last several years, I lace up my walking shoes, pack my bags, and head off to Spain, taking with me a small and select group of pilgrim seekers on one of the most transformational life journeys: Walk in Beauty: Pilgrimage of El Camino de Santiago, the famed thousand year old trail across the north of Spain.
This year is different, of course.
Instead, this is a time of remembering the beauty of old wild places, of celebrating the many people who have traveled with me over the years during Walk in Beauty and who have transformed their lives in big and small ways, and of holding the great uncertainty of when and how we will return to our beloved, El Camino. For now, my life and work are being called toward a different horizon focused on healing racial and social justice and supporting social change to create greater compassion, peace, and understanding, even now.
The journey is long.
The journey is my home.
Join me this Fall for several online offerings focused on social justice and social change.
